Answers to Q&A

What INSPIRED you to become a model?

My journey into modeling began with a mix of curiosity and encouragement. I had always been drawn to the creativity and storytelling involved in fashion and art, but I never thought of myself as someone who could be in front of the camera. Then, one day, my friend encouraged me to become more proactive about modeling. I didn’t expect much, but I thought it’d be fun to give it a shot and see what happened.

Once I put myself out there, I received a lot of positive feedback. Soon after, I was signed with my first agency, and from there, things took off. I was lucky to meet talented people who helped me build my portfolio and gain experience. Now I have an incredibly hard working team that takes care of me and works with me to develop my career to its fullest potential. I find myself continuously inspired by the chance to step into new roles, work with creative teams, and express different sides of myself.

Modeling has become more than just a career; it’s a way to constantly learn, grow, and challenge myself in ways I never imagined.

What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?

For me, it’s definitely the creative energy and unpredictability. I love that every project is different and that I get to work with so many talented people who all bring their own vision and style. There’s this thrill in seeing how each team interprets a concept, and then being part of bringing that to life—it’s inspiring.

Runway, especially, has a special place in my heart. Growing up, I used to watch Victoria’s Secret shows and was totally captivated by the behind-the-scenes clips. Seeing the models step into that powerful energy, with the lights, the music, and the excitement backstage, it looked so exhilarating. I always wondered what that feeling would be like, and now, whenever I get the chance to walk a runway, I feel like I’m experiencing that dream. It’s a full-circle moment, making my childhood self proud, and it’s that rush and connection to my younger self that keeps me passionate about modeling.

Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?

My best advice is to be patient, stay grounded, and trust your journey. The modeling industry is full of highs and lows, so learning to keep your confidence steady no matter what is key. Don’t be discouraged by rejections. Sometimes a ‘no’ can lead you to the right opportunity down the line.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is how crucial it is to find the right team. The right agency, agents, and collaborators make a huge difference in your experience and growth as a model. It might take a few tries to get it right, but when you do, it feels incredible. I feel so grateful for my current agencies, especially Ciotti Models, who have been such a supportive and professional team. Once you find people who truly believe in you, it makes the whole journey that much more fulfilling and exciting.

share a fun fact about yourself!

A fun fact about me is that I can speak five languages fluently and love traveling. I grew up in Europe where I was fortunate enough to learn three languages early on, and when I moved to Canada I decided to do my schooling in French as I would be exposed to English in my day to day. It’s a random but cool party trick!
