Answers to Q&A
Why did you want to become a model?
I used to watch Fashion TV with my mom, just watching all the weird but cool 90’s-early 2000’s fashion. By the time I was 11 years old I knew I wanted to become a model. I thought I could be as bad ass as Naomi Campbell; maybe even walk the runway with her. I recall telling some kids in middle school that I would one day be a Supermodel as well. At 19 years old I met my Mother Agent, Peggi LePage. She saw the vision within me, and the potential. So here I still stand today, enjoying my beautiful career, but still seeing if I can make it to that supermodel level.
What makes you special?
This is a terribly hard question to answer. I don’t think I am special, I just don’t. I think everyone has something that makes them unique, so, how can I single myself out like that? Now if you asked my mom, that’s a different story, I’m sure she could conjure up a list of things, but they are likely to be super embarrassing to me.
What are you passionate about?
Passion. Another hard question.
To all my ADHD people you might relate with me on this. I am passionate about a lot of things and they all at some point go on rotation: painting, sketching, language learning, film photography, they are all in rotation right now. There does seem to be a general theme, and it seems to be with the arts. l see the art in everything; love taking a moment to look at people, places, things, and seeing how the colours of the world blend into each other. The best description of this: “The Sky”. The sky is the greatest art piece I’ve ever seen.
Describe your dream photoshoot.
My dream photoshoot is a two parter. I would LOVE to be shot for the cover of Vogue Arabia or British Vogue. From there I’d like it to be an underwater or submerged type photoshoot, possibly in the Caribbean. I think that would be my ultimate shoot. However, I am willing compromise and do both ideas separately.
What’s your most prized possession and why?
I think my most prized possession has to be myself and my health; I’ve witnessed how short life can be, so I honestly want to just enjoy all of it. Not to stress over the small things that don’t matter, because you’ll look back at them and see how insignificant it was. So as my own prized possession, I try to stay happy and of course healthy.
