Answers to Q&A

Why did you want to become a model?

I wanted to become a model because it felt like the perfect combination of all my passions: art, photography, dance, fashion. Through modelling I am able to be a part of all of these worlds. And on top of that, I get to connect with like minded creatives from all around the world - dream come true!

What makes you special?

What makes me special is my ability to take on characters. Of course my background in theatre plays a part in this. Because I am used to acting from my theatre career, I have fun doing the same when I get in front of the camera and put on different clothes. On top of that, I have a decade of experience as a professional dancer, and there isn't a day on set where those skills don't play a part in my work.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about all things art, fashion and photography. I love how you can put on a piece of clothing and feel like a totally different human. I love watching people feel empowered by the clothes they wear - and documenting that through photography is the cherry on top.

What's a story that your family/friends like to tell about you?

A story that my family LOVES to bring up is how Snow White was my favourite movie when I was growing up. So much so that I used to make my mom wrap my "blankie"(blanket) around my waist to make the perfect skirt. I would then waltz around the house singing "I'm Snow White". On top of that, allegedly, if the skirt wasn't the perfect length, I would make mom re-do it to make sure that just the tips of my toes could be seen at the hem. Apparently even as a toddler, I had an attention to detail.

Describe your dream photoshoot.

My dream photoshoot would have to combine my passion for dance (the majority of my training is in classical ballet), as well as fashion. I picture a huge warehouse, or empty train station, where the architecture is captivating, yet rigid, and the clothing flows and moves as I dance through the space.
