Answers to Q&A
Why did you want to become a model?
I’ve always wanted to help people, help spread awareness, and be a part of something bigger. Modelling, to me, gave me that platform to be seen, to be heard, and to share positivity and enlightenment to anyone that across my page. Beside the wonderful experiences that modelling has brought me, and the life lessons I’ve learned from travelling, and dreams fulfilled working with my dream collaborators, why I started remains the same. To build a page that people can be inspired from, either through the art of the modelling posts, the stories I share, or the motivational captions I use.
What are you passionate about?
Staying focused on what matters. It’s not money, it’s not exposure, it’s being someone that leaves a positive impact after we’ve crossed paths. If I could be known for anything I want it to be that I remain positive, insightful and very hard working. I’m dedicated to my craft and I’ve loved seeing my career elevate over the years.
what makes you special?
My eagerness to not just do something well, but the best in the room. I want to excel and be known for going the extra mile. This can be in the form of being dedicated to getting “the shot”, pushing myself physically, learning the art is self control when it comes to diets, skin care, flexibility and professionalism. I want younger models I work with on set to see the important of staying energetic and positive even if you’re cold, hungry, and have already been shooting for 6 hours.
Describe your dream photoshoot.
It was to work for American Eagle, but I did that. Then It was to walk for Celia Krithorioti, then I did that as well. Now it’s to do bridal shoots in Paris. I’m in love with the journey, not the destination. There are so many wonderful people to work with in this industry, in every modelling market, that I would be honoured to work for. Shoots with elegance and sequin dress have my heart for sure though.
If you could give an aspiring model any advice, what would it be?
To really want it. Give it your dedication and love the process. You hear “no” a lot in this industry but it makes the “yes, you’re confirmed” taste so sweet! You have time so just enjoy it. Try and learn something new from every photoshoot, runway, booking. And last but not least…learn ACTING! It will step up your modelling game, your expressions and your ability to move judgment free on set.
