Answers to Q&A
What INSPIRED you to become a model?
I've always been fascinated by fashion and the power of visual storytelling. Growing up, I loved looking at editorials and runway shows (especially America’s next top model with Tyra Banks), imagining how each model brought a designer’s vision to life. I started experimenting with photoshoots for fun, playing with different styles and aesthetics, and that’s when I realized how much I loved being in front of the camera. I wasn’t scouted — I took the initiative to apply to agencies, and after going through the selection process, I was thrilled to sign with Massardo Model Management in Canada. It felt like a big step toward something I had always dreamed of. Modeling is so much more than just posing; it's about evoking emotion, embodying a concept, and bringing a creative vision to reality. That’s what truly excites me about this journey! Christopher helped me getting started and we completely changed my look, I made a buzz cut and it was my best decision so far! I started to feel like myself, and stopped worrying about how I look, it gave me a huge amount of confidence.
What are you most excited about when it comes to modeling?
One of the most exciting things about modeling is stepping into different roles and personalities. Every shoot feels like a form of acting—you can be a fierce, powerful model one day and an ethereal, dreamy editorial character the next. It’s like temporarily living in different worlds, and that creative transformation is what I love most. I also enjoy the collaborative energy of the industry—working with photographers, stylists, and makeup artists, and seeing how each person’s artistry comes together to create something unique. And of course, the opportunity to travel, meet inspiring people, and constantly challenge myself to evolve as a model makes it all even more thrilling!
Can you share with us some advice you have for models wanting to get into the industry?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned so far is that confidence and persistence are everything. Rejection is part of the process, and the key is not taking it personally—it doesn’t define your potential. Keep improving your craft, practice posing in the mirror, study top models, and get comfortable in front of the camera. Another crucial piece of advice: build a strong portfolio with diverse looks! Agencies and clients love versatility, so show them you can adapt to different styles. Lastly, take care of yourself—mentally and physically. Modeling is more than just looking good; it’s about feeling good, having energy, and bringing the right attitude to every opportunity. Stay professional, be kind, and never stop learning!
share a fun fact about yourself!
Before getting into modeling, I was a professional skier and part of Team Russia as a teenager! Skiing was a huge part of my life—I spent years training, competing, and pushing my limits on the slopes. That experience taught me discipline, resilience, and how to stay focused under pressure, which has been super helpful in modeling as well. While my path has shifted, I still love the adrenaline of adventure sports and try to bring that same determination into everything I do.
